AWARDS AND PRIZES

  • We award trophies exclusively for 1st place in the group category. Starting in 2026, trophies will also be awarded for 1st place in the team category.
  • Medals will be awarded to all competitors who place 1st–3rd.
  • We award one diploma for each competition start, for 1st to 3rd place.
  • Titles are awarded only if the following condition is met: There must be at least 6 competition starts in the given discipline. This condition applies to all categories, including groups and teams. Winning a title is a significant achievement, which is why it is subject to this condition.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Awards (trophies, medals, diplomas and titles) will not be sent after the event.

If you do not attend the announcement of the results, you are not automatically entitled to have the award sent to you at a later date.

🎁 BONUS FOR WINNERS

Winners will receive a discount voucher for the KÁBRT COMPANY International Dance Workshop in Prague, which will take place in November 2026.

Procedure before the award ceremony

Before the ceremony begins, all participants line up into one line backstage. One by one, they enter the stage through the ceremonial gate.

This entrance is followed by a group dance led by Lubomír Kábrt. It is a powerful shared experience that symbolizes unity, energy, and love of dance. This moment demonstrates the strength of the entire dance community and expresses one of the main values of the competition—connecting and uniting people through dance.

A small gift is then presented to all group leaders, and we move smoothly on to the ceremony itself and the presentation of awards.

AWARD CEREMONY

The award ceremony always takes place at the end of the competition day.

This is what sets our competition apart from others. We don't see the KÁBRT CUP as just a competition, but as a celebration of dance, which deserves the appropriate space, time, and respect.

Recognizing the talent and work of dancers is an important event for us, which is why we devote our full attention to the ceremony and ensure it runs smoothly. Participants should be aware that the competition day is time-consuming and requires full commitment until the very end.

Rules of the award ceremony

  • Competition costumes must be worn for the award ceremony. Other clothing is not permitted. Dancers who do not have a costume may not receive an award.
  • The winners must enter the winner's podium safely and smoothly. For safety reasons, participants must not jump onto or off the winner's podium.
  • All competitors on the winner's podium must wait until all award recipients are ready.

Conclusion of the ceremony

After the awards ceremony, a group photo of all the winners will be taken. The conclusion also includes the national anthem, during which all competitors and spectators stand. This moment is a sign of respect and a great honor for all involved.
