Kábrt Cup – A European Dance Competition Concept

Kábrt Cup is a European dance competition that unites nations through dance. The concept is continuously expanding across Europe, and in 2026 it will take place in: the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Germany, and Croatia.

The best champions from each country will then meet at the Euro Kábrt Cup in Poland, where they will compete on an international stage.

In countries where Kábrt Cup is not yet present, dancers can take part in an online selection to receive a nomination for the Euro Kábrt Cup — giving everyone the chance to reach the international level.

Kábrt Cup connects talent, nations, and the dance community across Europe.

  1. Selecting a suitable and safe environment for the competition.

  2. Providing high-quality and professional stage conditions.

  3. Building, connecting, and developing the dance community across regions and countries.

  4. Ensuring maximum fairness and objectivity in the judging process.

  5. Offering meaningful and supportive feedback as part of the evaluation.

  6. Maintaining strong support and clear communication with leaders and teachers of dance groups or programs.

  7. Creating clear and understandable competition rules that define the boundaries of each dance style without limiting the creativity of choreographers.

Why join the Kábrt Cup?

It's not just a competition. It's an experience that transforms dancers.

Kábrt Cup is one of the fastest-growing dance projects in Europe. Every year, it gives hundreds of dancers a unique opportunity to showcase their talent, push their limits, and become part of a strong and supportive dance community.

A major advantage of the Kábrt Cup is that the entire project is led by Lubomír Kábrt — a person with a clear vision, a personal approach, and a strong commitment to moving the dance environment forward. His energy, experience, and attention to detail give the competition a unique character that dancers and teachers truly appreciate.

What does the Kábrt Cup offer you?

Support and talent development

Here, you have the chance to shine. A professional stage, high-quality conditions, and an expert jury give dancers the ideal space to show what they can do — and grow to the next level.

A strong dance community across Europe

Kábrt Cup connects dancers, teachers, choreographers, and fans from various countries. We create an environment where new collaborations, contacts, and long-lasting friendships naturally form.

Motivation that drives you forward

The atmosphere of the competition is full of inspiration. Expert feedback, the energy of performing, and the competitive spirit fuel new motivation to improve and exceed your own limits.

Visibility and new opportunities

Our competition offers a platform that allows your talent to be seen by a wider audience and industry professionals. It's a chance to show your style, build your network, and start forming your name in the dance world.

Friendships and memories for a lifetime

Kábrt Cup is not only about performance — it's about people who share a passion for dance. Strong bonds, shared experiences, and unforgettable moments are created here.

Personal and artistic growth

The competitive environment encourages dancers to step outside their comfort zone. It teaches them to handle pressure, work with emotions, and grow as artists and individuals.

Creativity without limits

Preparing for the Kábrt Cup inspires dancers and choreographers to explore new ideas, experiment with styles, and discover their own artistic voice.

Project History

The first edition of the national dance competition Kábrt Cup took place in 2019 in Kutná Hora. In 2020 and 2021, preparations for the next edition had to be suspended due to the covid-19 pandemic.

In 2021, we relaunched the project and began organizing the Kábrt Cup 2022 in the Czech Republic as well as in Slovakia. The year 2023 brought the successful realization of the third edition in the Czech Republic and the second edition in Slovakia. During this period, the entire project also underwent significant visual and organizational innovation.

In 2024, the fourth edition in the Czech Republic and the third edition in Slovakia were held, with the competition continuing to grow and gain popularity.

The year 2025 was a breakthrough for Kábrt Cup – we successfully organized the first edition in Poland, achieving great success. This expanded the competition to three countries: the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Poland.

For 2026, we have set an ambitious goal: to expand the Kábrt Cup also into Germany and Croatia, and subsequently, in September 2026, to host the very first Euro Kábrt Cup, connecting top dancers from across Europe.
